Booked into b&b after becoming stranded due to weather conditions. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, felt very welcomed after a really stressful experience on the roads. The room was lovely, clean and warm (just what we needed) and came equipped with a smart TV, fresh towels and sanitary products. Downstairs bar area was also very nice and open fire was perfect! We had breakfast the next morning which was also 10/10. Cannot thank the greyhound inn enough for accommodating us and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area.
Thank you to everyone at the Greyhound Inn, you made our day with your hospitality after our car broke down. The pub served a great choice of beer and wine and our room was clean and comfortable too. If we are back in the area we will definitely pop back for a meal. Thanks again. David
Called in on the off chance and tonight is curry night. We were a tad disappointed as we wanted some pub food but we stayed and ordered 2 x Lamb Rogan Josh, OMG how satisfied were we, incredible food, so fresh and extremely tasty without the hot spices to go with it, really really nice. On top of that the service was great, and very accommodating towards dietary requests. Fantastic all round service and food, I would 100% recommend trying it, wonderful thank you
Met a friend here as half way for us both. Small simple menu but food was ample and fine. Good service and a nice comfortable place.
Popped in for a quick meal enroute to camp site in Western Lakes. Despite only arriving a few minutes before afternoon service was due to end the staff were really friendly and more than happy to get us some meals. We had 2 platters between 3 of us, both were delicious and plentiful, as well as being fantastic value for money. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
Nice pub, small & quaint. Menu mid week is very small, good food but wish there was a larger variety. Stayed in the area for 3 days, would of gone back a 2nd night if larger menu.
Just stopped off to use the koo and have a coffee. Loos as good as expected, first time I've drunk coffee wt milk in it in decades. My son ordered. Still it has bags of taste. Part way through it started to rain and they were happy to have us in
We were staying in a local Cottage for a few days and found the Greyhound was just down the road. Popped in for a couple of drinks and something to eat. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was very good.. Very quiet when we there. Be aware they only serve food until 7pm..
